Minions Sing EXO's 'Growl' In Fan-Made Viral Video

Looks like the minions from "Despicable Me" are secret EXO-L's.

A viral video from China shows the minions from "Despicable Me" and "Minions" singing K-pop group EXO's "Growl." Not only does it appear that the minions are singing the song, whoever made the original video edited it so that it appears as if the minions' actions are perfectly synched with the song.

The song has been altered to mimic the unique voices of the minions, the small yellow creatures that work for villains in the Dreamworks "Despicable Me" universe. Before their K-pop career, the minions recently starred in the prequel "Minions," released in July.

Due to multiple uploads of the video, it is unclear who the original creator of the minion version of "Growl" is, but it appears to have originated on Chinese EXO fan sites.

EXO's "Growl" was released in 2013, and became one of EXO's most iconic songs.

Fans who watched the minions version of "Growl" commented on YouTube that they thought the fan-made video was "creative" and "cute."
