Phoenix Suns Markieff Morris Wants Out! Won't Talk To Anybody After Suns Traded Twin Brother Marcus

The Phoenix Suns are facing a big problem right now as Markieff Morris, a vital piece of their roster, wants to be traded.

It looks like there is no more turning back as John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 reported that Markieff is no longer interested to patch things up with the management, as he won't even talk to his teammates or the coaching staff.

This comes after the Suns traded his twin brother, Marcus, to the Detroit Pistons. The twins have made it known that they want to be side by side at all times but the Suns, without informing them, traded Marcus away just after re-signing both players to team-friendly contracts.

"Everybody knew how bad I wanted to play with my brother," Marcus Morris said last month via ESPN.com. "Phoenix knew. For them to trade me without consent or telling or anything like that was kind of like a, I would say slap in the face, because of the contract I took from those guys and the money I took from them. That was kind of a slap in the face."

Without his source of inspiration, it might be hard to tell whether Markieff Morris will have the drive to put up the same performance last season, where he averaged 15 points per game.

"Keef is a talented offensive player who is only 25 years old and has plenty of room to improve on a bargain of a contract," Valley of the Suns' Gerald Bourguet wrote. "He has a golden opportunity to be a starter in Phoenix and help a team that should be in the mix for a playoff spot this season."
