Singer Eru is Appointed Korea Cosmetics Ambassador in Indonesia

Singer Eru will be taking on the role of embassador for Korean cosmetics.

Eru, who has become quite a star in Indonesia, has been appointed the Korea Cosmetics ambassador.

On March 16, Eru will be attending the '2013 Lovely Korea Beauty Premium' event in Indonesia at the Lippo Mall Kemang from 2 to 3:30 PM to hold the ambassador ceremony.

Eru cut the tape and held a fan sign event and took pictures as well. He also held a interview with the media to talk about his new position as ambassador.

A local official commented, "Last November, Eru had visited Indonesia for promotions and drove a Korea brand car. This in turn had locals interested in the brand of the car. It seems that if Eru promotes something, it becomes an instant hit and we are sure it will be the same with cosmetics as he has now been appointed the ambassador."

On the other hand, Eru will be holding a solo concert in Indonesia on April 20.

Eru, who is also the son of famous trot singer, Tae Jin Ah, debuted as a singer in 2005.

Eru has become one of the most popular Korean artists in Indonesia. He has also played a role for an Indonesian film called, "Hello Goodbye." He lost 20 kg to play the role, showing his commitment to his part.

His famous song, "Black Glasses" was also used as part of the movie soundtrack. They edited the song into an English version.

He is also the first Korean singer to perform on 8 Indonesian music programs.

Songs that were not hits in Korea have become very popular in Indonesia as well. It seems that Indonesian fans are head over heels for Eru.

He has also recently released a digital single last year featuring 4minute HyunA called, "Don't Hurt."

This upbeat ballad is different from his usual slow and sad ballads. This song also features HyunA's soft and deep rap as well.
