Andy Murray and Kim Sears have a baby on the way and it looks like this will further inspire him to perform well in the US Open 2015. While he fell hard at Citi Open, Andy Murray will surely be revived by this baby news!

According to the Guardian, “Andy Murray is going to be a father in February according to best estimates – which might inconvenience his participation in the Australian Open in January – and everybody is happy for Britain’s best player and his wife, Kim.”

Andy Murray has performed most consistently this season, thanks to his marriage to his wife Kim Sears. The Scottish player is definitely looking to carry on his high performing streak into US Open 2015 now that he is also expecting a baby.

He confessed recently, according to Sky Sports, that 2015 season was definitely one of his best.

Andy Murray said: "One of the things I spoke about at the beginning of the year was consistency. That has been a positive. The year as a whole, there has been some progress. Hopefully I get on a good run now on the hard courts to the end of the year. I've played well in all of the Slams. The French Open was the best I've ever played on the clay and at Wimbledon Roger played a really good match."

Looks like Andy Murray gained more confidence after his marriage to Kim Sears and after his performance at Wimbledon 2015! Looks like the rash Scotsman is turning out to become a fine sportsman.

In fact, Andy Murray is leading a very successful Davis Cup team this year. According to BBC, the Scottish player said, “You can't win the Davis Cup on your own and reaching the semi-finals has been a real team effort.”

He has to thank his new wife Kim Sears for all the good luck that she has been injecting in his life! Not only did the Scottish player each the semifinals of Wimbledon 2015, his earnings reportedly spiked up by 30% post wedding!

According to Marie Claire UK’s marketing expert Nigel Currie, “Kim adds at least 30 per cent to Murray's earnings off court. Andy Murray on his own is not that attractive, but add Kim [and] they are now a celebrity couple and have more options. She brings in a whole new dimension to his marketability. They are using the same model the Beckhams are using.”
