"Gauntlet: Slayer Edition" is out on PS4.

A launch trailer was released and previewed parts of the gameplay for those who are interested in trying the game out.

The video opened with a voice over explaining the story of the "Gauntlet" and the mission that many have tried and failed. This game is a modern take on the 1985 classic arcade game where the new game has a "dungeon brawler feature." This gives players the option to play one of the four classes: Warrior, Wizard, Valkyrie and Elf, and can team up with friends locally or online.

There is even an "Endless" mode where players who are hardcore can fight through a never-ending series of floors with.

Playstation Blog noted that there are more things to look forward to. New hero weapon abilities and customization is included to make sure that the heroes satisfy the players' standards when it comes to creating a character. There are a total of four weapons for each hero that alters their abilities and performance in-game.

Unique potion abilities and the use of more relics are also featured and will make games more unpredictable depending on the usage.

A game with improved heroes should consequently have improved opponents. Gamers don't have to worry about this as "Gauntlet: Slayer Edition" has new monster types to duel with in the Gauntlet. Their visuals have been upgraded, plus they have new abilities as well.

On Gamespot, Emil Englund, Game Director of "Gauntlet: Slayer Edition" said, "This time around, we wanted to explore the heroes and their abilities more in-depth giving them a bigger toolset for players to explore, as well as a new game more in which to exercise their rights as self-proclaimed monster slayers."

"Gauntlet: Slayer Edition" is already out in the Playstation Network for $20. The PC Version of the game will get all the new features through a free update.
