Motorola DROID Turbo Outshines Moto X And Some Features Of Sony Xperia M5?

Until this day, a number of mobile users still consider the Motorola DROID Turbo as among the best phones ever produced.

Recent reviews about this high-end unit of Motorola revealed that it has outshined some of the best features of its predecessor, Moto X, and the upcoming M5 variant of Sony Xperia.

Engadget noted four major pros and three cons of the Motorola DROID Turbo.

According to the site, among the advantages of owning such unit are its long battery life, attractive Quad HD screen, powerful performance and a camera that is obviously way better than that of the Moto X.

However, a Motorola DROID Turbo user may have to face its less charming design as well as the fact that it has no expandable memory and it can only be availed of through Verizon as the challenges.

Chris Velazco stated in his review that despite the so-called deficiency in style and charm which is prevalent in the 2014 Moto X, the DROID Turbo can still be considered a "powerhouse" when compared to its predecessor because it was able "to outperform its relative in nearly every way that matters. Sadly, it's a Verizon exclusive so the rest of you (unless you live in Brazil and Mexico and buy a Moto Maxx) need not apply."

Meanwhile, the anticipated release of Sony Xperia M5 this month is seen as the rise of a potential competitor, according to Ecumenical News.

In terms of display, both phones have top-of-the-line HD display with the M5 having a Mobile BRAVIA® Engine 2 while the DROID Turbo boasts of Quad HD AMOLED display.

For the design, the M5 is made of a plastic build and aluminum frame, while the DROID Turbo is built with a ballistic nylon and has a woven texture.

Battery-wise, the Motorola DROID Turbo could be a better choice since it has a 3,900 mAh battery, compared Sony Xperia's 2,600 mAh.
