2NE1 Rapper CL Supports Justin Bieber's 'What Do You Mean?' Single Before His New Album Release Date

Justin Bieber has been highlighting the date Aug. 28 with a string of photos and guest promos, and the latest to join the fray is 2NE1's Lee "CL" Chaerin.

On Friday, Justin Bieber's official social media accounts uploaded a photo featuring the 2NE1 rapper, holding up a sign which reads, "Justin Bieber. 14 days. What do you mean?" The same teaser has been done by other celebrities such as Big Sean, girl group Little Mix and Shaquille O'Neal.

According to Billboard, "What Do You Mean?" is the title of his upcoming single, which Bieber has described as "uptempo" and "summery."

"Girls are often flip-floppy," said Bieber on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. "They say something, and then they mean something else. "What do you mean? I don't really know, that's why I'm asking."

The last time CL and Justin Bieber were seen together was in a viral lip sync video to Carly Rae Jepsen's "I Really Like You," a video that also featured celebrities like Ariana Grande and Jeremy Scott.

But this is no surprise, given they are both managed by Scooter Braun, who has also signed talents like Grande, Psy and Jepsen. Both Bieber and CL have also recently collaborated with Diplo and Skrillex. Bieber's collaboration single with Diplo and Skrillex (Jack Ü) titled "Where Are Ü Now" recently peaked at number right on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Meanwhile, Diplo's record label Mad Decent has just released the music video for his collaboration single with CL, OG Maco and RiFF RAFF.

Like Bieber, CL is gearing up to release a full-length album this year, which will mark her debut as a soloist in the US.

Earlier in the month, CL's Korean record label YG Entertainment confirmed that the rapper was filming two music videos in the month of August, signaling that her debut is inching closer and closer.
