Houston Rockets Trade Rumors: Markieff Morris In Exchange For Trevor Ariza?

The Phoenix Suns are currently looking for a trade partner that is interested in disgruntled forward Markieff Morris.

But, to make it less harder for the Suns, he already suggested two teams that he would like as landing spots, the Houston Rockets or the Toronto Raptors.

John Gambadoro of 98.7 Arizona Sports reported that he likes to play with bonafide stars like James Harden in Houston and Kyle Lowry for the Toronto Raptors.

"He likes Houston because of James Harden and Toronto because of Kyle Lowry, but he honestly doesn't care where he gets dealt as long as he is not wearing a Suns uniform," Gambadoro wrote.

"He is going to tell the Suns he can't play for them, has too much hatred and animosity built up and that they won't want him around."

In fact, Morris has closed all his doors for his Suns teammates and even head coach Jeff Hornacek.

"Markieff is not calling back teammates and plans to be very standoffish when he reports to camp. He does not plan on arriving until he absolutely has to, so no pickup games with the boys before camp starts. He is expected to make a circus of media day," Gambadoro added.

"He has told those close to him he can never be happy in Phoenix. That he won't say a word to any of the Suns' upper management and will have one word answers for Coach Hornacek. He will keep things short and simple."

Rumor has it that the reason why Morris is furious with the Suns is he accepted lesser money to stay with the Suns just to be able to play with his twin brother, Marcus, who was shipped to Detroit just recently.

Should the Rockets consider this deal, the four-position might be a little bit crowded with Terrence Jones and Donatas Motiejunas already vying for time. Plus, the deal will only be possible for a straight-up swap for Trevor Ariza.
