Matthew Patrick Of Game Theorists Youtube Teases 'Five Nights At Freddy's 4' Theory On Twitter

Earlier this week, some fans on Reddit started a thread expressing hopes for there soon to be a "Five Nights at Freddy's" theory video from popular YouTube channel, The Game Theorists.

Based on a new Tweet from Matthew Patrick, a series lore video may soon be coming.

On Aug. 17, Matthew Patrick teased his next "Five Nights at Freddy's" theory video on his official twitter. The Tweet in question hints that his latest theory is currently in production and may soon be released.

"Love is discussing murderous animatronics across 12 hours and 3 whiteboards," said Patrick.

Patrick, who currently boasts over 4 million subscribers, is known for his extremely detailed analysis of video games. In fact, his theory about racist cops in "Grand Theft Auto V" involved logging an extensive number of hours of approaching police officers as three separate characters.

As for "Five Nights at Freddy's" however, Patrick was burned a little after devising a two part theory that was rendered useless when the final installment (as it remains to be seen) was announced just after he asserted there would be no fourth game. This perhaps explains why Patrick would take his time approaching a theory again, as creator Scott Cawthon is known for sudden announcements.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 4" was released earlier this summer and is now available to download on Steam, Android and iOS platforms. Cawthon describes the game as follows:

"In this last chapter of the Five Nights at Freddy's original story, you must once again defend yourself against Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and even worse things that lurk in the shadows. Playing as a child whose role is yet unknown, you must safeguard yourself until 6am by watching the doors, as well as warding off unwanted creatures that may venture into your closet or onto the bed behind you."
