Avril Lavigne is moving on from rumors that she and her husband Chad Kroeger are going for divorce as she is set to help 50 unfortunate kids who will attend a summer camp.

The Canadian "Hello Kitty" singer is now gearing up for the third year of CAMP S.T.A.R.S, a project by the Avril Lavigne Foundation and Easter Seals, which aims to help low-income children with disabilities.

Founded in 2012, the CAMP S.T.A.R.S. was the brainchild of the "Complicated" hit maker when she first visited Easter Seals Summer Camp in various parts of United States and in Canada, PR News Wire said.

"Since starting this program, we've helped more than 100 children and young adults to attend summer camp to make lifelong friends, have fun and learn new skills," said Avril Lavigne.

The singer added, "I created the Avril Lavigne Foundation to help people find joy and acceptance no matter what their circumstances, so I'm proud to support this program with Easter Seals again this year."

Avril Lavigne has just recovered from Lyme disease, which made her bed-ridden last year.

In a recent interview, the "Happy Ending" singer talked about how she went from being hopeless to having a whole new perspective in life after she recovered from the auto immune disease.

Amid her battle with the disease, Avril Lavigne was also rumored to be talking about getting a divorce from husband, Nickelback frontman, Chad Kroeger.

Rumors revealed that the marriage of Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger is heading to divorce after they have not been seen wearing their wedding rings on separate outings.

Their social media posts also showed no recent photos of each other, which prompted speculations that their relationship is on the rocks.

Apart from taking her time for healing kids with disabilities, Avril Lavigne is also making a comeback in the music scene as she recenlty led the Special Olympics World Games with a spectacular performance of her new song "Fly."

She will also star in the upcoming Disney animated musical film, "Charming," VC Post said in their report.
