Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Features Live YouTube Streaming Specs: Release Date Review

Samsung has officially released the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, which functions as an updated version of the original Galaxy S6.

Although the new device resembles its predecessor phone, it features a variety of new specs, including an enlarged display and battery. It also includes an improved operating system, which is better able to handle data-heavy applications simultaneously.

Among these new applications are included the capability for users to use YouTube's live streaming feature, which allows producers to directly stream content on the go. The new capability is upheld as one of the device's cutting-edge features.

Online marketplace eBay has announced the release of a "manufacture refurbished" Samsung Galaxy S6 unit, the International Business Times reports, priced at $550.

The aforementioned version of the mobile device is available with a discount of $265 and is exclusively an AT&T unlocked device. Regular versions of the Samsung Galaxy S6 are available for $765 with the same mobile carrier.

It was originally priced at $815.

Samsung is reported to have released a new software update for the its flagship phone. This comes days after Android released its 5.1.1 Lollipop update.

"A software update can include, but is not limited to: device stability improvements, bug fixes; new and/or enhanced features; further improvements to performance," the update description reads, according to SamMobile.

"To get the best from your device, please keep your phone up to date and regularly check for software updates."
