'Sad Satan' Game To Get Remake By Reddit Fan

The hunt may still be on for the original maker of the mysterious "Sad Satan" deep web horror game, but some fans area looking to close the gap between the two existing versions of the game.

That is to say, if you really wanted the actual experience of "Sad Satan" without the viruses and child pornography, you may soon get it.

According to a post in the official "Sad Satan" Reddit, one fan is determined to develop a "Sad Satan" game remake that combines components from the version first previewed by Obscure Horror Corner with changes that make for a more fluid (and safe) experience of the game.

The Reddit fan who has announced his remake is Daniel Drake, who as of Aug. 16 announced that he was working on a remake.

"The 'Sad Satan' remake is official! I will post updates on my progress as things progress; right now I'm just looking through the game's map and have already recreated two wall graphics pixel by pixel," said Drake.

AS for why Drake wanted to work on a "Sad Satan" remake, he cites influence from his personal life:

"Because of my rough past and many scarring moments in my early years, I've always been emotionally invested in horror, and making others feel what I've felt," explained Drake.

Drake, who represents himself as DRSG Games in the gaming community, claims that his "Sad Satan" remake will be based on the original Obscure Horror Corner version that initially caused all of the interest and excitement plus certain portions of the dangerous "clone" version that surfaced in 4chan claiming to be the "real" version.

So far, there seems to be plenty of fan support for Drake's version of "Sad Satan," so perhaps in the coming months there will a worthy playable version for many more fans to absorb.

If not, there's still a manhunt out for the original creator of "Sad Satan" to keep all of us interested parties occupied until a new version comes to us.
