Holly Madison Accepts Book’s Critics; Admits She Expected Former Playboy Co-Workers’ Reactions

Holly Madison has accepted her book's critics. The ex-Playboy Playmate recently admitted that she expected her former co-workers no react negatively to her memoir "Down The Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures And Cautionary Tales Of A Former Playboy Bunny."

The former star of hit reality series "Girls Next Door" recently penned an explosive tell-all about her seven-year-stay inside the Playboy mansion as one of the revolving girlfriends of magazine founder Hugh Hefner.

Holly Madison's book detailed how the notorious womanizer was allegedly very manipulative and consented rampant drug use and bullying that took place inside the infamous house.

Former housemates of Holly Madison all slammed the book.

According to a report from Us Weekly, Kendra Wilkinson blasted her former co-star for being ungrateful after Hugh Hefner gave her a career break.

''It's a shame that someone can't be appreciative of what something like that has given them," she said.

Former Playboy housemate Izabella St James also told Daily Mail that Holly Madison just was obsessed with Hugh Hefner and simply wants to avenge since he did not marry her after seven years.

"Holly chose to just completely lie and omit that she was absolutely, completely obsessed with Hugh," Izabella St James said.

According to a report from Las Vegas Sun, Holly Madison expected her former friends to turn on her after she released her tell-all.

"I knew the Playboy people would not like the book, but I wasn't really concerned with their reactions," the 35-year-old said.

"I didn't write the book to get a reaction. I did it to share my truth with those who could relate and put a cautionary tale out there."

Holly Madison said her book is also meant to help others who have been in dysfunctional relationships.

"I knew there were people out there, people in bad relationships or people who felt defined by bad decisions they had made when they were younger, who could relate to my story and learn from it," she explained.

With all her critics, Holly Madison revealed that there are a few people from Playboy who still support her.

"I'm still friends with some people who happen to have been Playmates, but that's because of who they are as people," she said.

"Even when people write mean things about me, they aren't saying anything new that hasn't been said about me a million times before."
