Kevin Durant Free Agency Rumors: OKC Star Blasts Media For Spreading False Rumors

2014 NBA MVP Kevin Durant says that the media is full of non-sense especially when they spread false rumors when it comes to his free agency next season.

Durant spoke with CBSSports.com and he said that he is annoyed with how the media is twisting news on how he is shifting teams next season as well as other free agents.

"Uh, just, I think we should ... you know what, I'm not even going to answer that. I'm not gonna answer that one. Along with Matty Ice (Thunder PR man Matt Tumbleson), I've got two people that I trust with my life, my agent and my manager, who's my best friend as well. I trust them with my life," Durant said.

He also said that fans should not believe rumors as early as now that he is shifting teams unless it came from a reputable source.

"So if you hear sources or anything, don't believe it if it didn't come from them. I tell them everything. We bounce ideas off each other. We collaborate on a lot of different things. They give me advice. So throughout this year, if you hear sources from anybody, it's not true, unless you hear it from Charlie Bell, Rich Kleiman or Kevin Durant," he added.

Perhaps, one thing that fans can believe is Durant is considering transferring to a team with a huge chance of winning the title. Say, his hometown team, Washington Wizards according to best friend Damion James.

"The one thing I know about my brother is he wants to win," said Damion James via Washington Post. "He'll do whatever it takes to win. Whoever gives him the best chance to win is where he's going to end up."
