Microsoft Office 2016 Release Date Expected On September! New Report Confirms Launch

In addition to the announcement and release of the newest Windows 10, a new Microsoft Office 2016 has been given a release date after a new report confirmed the new breed of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

In a recent report by BGR, the newest Office Suite will be available for Home and Professional users, while Microsoft is working on the final touches of Microsoft Office 2016 after announcing its official release date.

According to the source, Microsoft revealed a screenshot of the announcement, stating that the release date should be expected on Sept. 22.

"On Sept. 22, 2015, we'll release Office 2016 - with updates for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Skype For Business, Project, Visio, Access and Publisher," the statement from WinFuture wrote. "The innovation wave continues in Q2 with the release of E5 and Skype For Business and on-premise service will follow."

Furthermore, it has been also stated in the announcement that Windows would continue supporting previous versions with regular updates to provide further improvements in the system.

"This is the central hub for all Office 2016 Commercial readiness, training and marketing materials," it continued. "Mark this page and check back frequently, as we will be releasing new materials, weekly to support the launch."
Meanwhile, as reported by The Verge, the new Microsoft Office 2016 would have minor changes on its release date, which would include new color themes.

According to the source, the new themes would be similar to that of the Mac, iOS and Android apps, adding the optimization of new features that would work well with the new Windows 10.

"The new colorful option arrives alongside a dark theme for those who dislike the traditional look of Microsoft's Office apps," The Verge pointed out. "Microsoft is improving Outlook 2016 search, attachments, storage footprint, and email delivery performance, alongside some improvements to image insertion in Word 2016 and Excel 2016."
