‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 8 Preview: Trailer Shows Goku And Vegeta Fight Lord Beerus; Will We See A New Character? [VIDEO]

'Dragon Ball Super' TV Series: The new Dragon Ball Super Episode 8 trailer reveals that Vegeta and Goku will have to fight Lord Beerus to save Earth. Episode 7 concluded in a cliff-hanger and the new episode is set to give answers.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 8  is called "Sorry About the Wait, Beerus-sama - Finally, Super Saiyan God is Born!"

In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 7, "How Dare You Hit My Bulma! Vegeta's Furious Mutation?!," Gohan, Piccolo, Tien, Android 18 and Gotenks fell victim to Lord Beerus during Bulma's birthday party. The Saiyan prince charged up his power after Beerus slapped his wife Bulma.

Goku will have to step in for Vegeta in his battle with Beerus, who is the most powerful being in the universe.

The latest manga chapter showed Goku preparing for his fight with Beerus. Gohan, Gotenks, and Picollowill take on Beerugeta.

Henry Thurlow, the animator of the series, said labor artists and animators work almost 10 hours/6 days a week for one episode.

The trailer of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 8 starts with Vegeta and Beerus facing off against each other as Beerus gets ready to kill everyone.

Beerus got mad at Buu for eating all the pudding. The God of Destruction beats Buu down.

It was recently announced that new characters will be introduced in Dragon Ball Super episode 8. Champa, a humanoid alien cat, and a female attendant who looks similar to Whis, will be joining the cast.

"'Dragon Ball Super' is a complete continuation of the Majin Buu story arc," Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama announced on Toei Animation via V-Jump.

"It's got a bit of post-battle aftermath, continues with the 'Battle of Gods' arc where the God of Destruction Beerus appears and the 'Resurrection F' arc where Freiza comes back to life, and then, I've written a strange new story where they finally depart from this universe.

"They're fighting against their neighbors, Universe 6! They'll yell at me if I give away too many spoilers, so I'll keep the rest a secret, but they're chasing after giant Super Dragon Balls; I think things will unfold in a bright and simple way, that will be really fun and exciting!"

Dragon Ball Super episode 8 will be shown on Aug. 30, while episode 9 will air on Sept. 6.
