Minnesota Timberwolves Trade Rumors: Ricky Rubio To Dallas Mavs Or Sacramento Kings?

The Minnesota Timberwolves will be one of the teams to watch when next season begins. However, it looks like they might make at least one major move at the point guard position.

As much as Ricky Rubio wants to stay with the Minnesota Timberwolves, it looks like the T-Wolves management are not quite solved with him as their long term point guard.

In fact, Rubio said he loves how the team is made up right now, especially with the presence of Kevin Garnett in their line-up per Rappler.com.

"When I was growing up, I watched a lot of KG's games and I was a little afraid, so when he came to the team I was concerned but at the same time I was super excited, because I had a chance to play with him in 2012 locally," Rubio said.

"I was working out in LA and we played some friendly games and he was over there and I had a chance to meet him," remarks the point guard, that KG is totally different off-court compared to the trash talking version of him that fans see on TV.

"He's not that guy that it seems on the basketball court. He's really a good guy, nice guy, and helps your teammates. He kills for you," said Rubio, who is entering his fifth season.

But, in a report by Bleacher Report's Ric Bucher, he said that the T-Wolves will be relying mostly on veteran point guard Andre Miller to take the helm during crunch time. The main issue they see in Rubio is his ability to score that makes him expendable. He added the teams that might pursue Rubio are the Sacramento Kings and the Dallas Mavericks.
