Boyfriend Shares A Romantic Night With Their Bestfriends in Singapore

Korean group, Boyfriend had a memorable fan meeting last Saturday, March 16th at The Star Performing Arts Centre, Singapore. The theatre was filled with mostly female teenagers. Dressed in "Janus" prince-like red and black stage outfit, they started off their first solo BOYFRIEND 2013 Asia Fan Meeting In Singapore around 7.20pm. Compared to their "boyish cute image" when they first debut, the six boys now showed a more matured side of them in their performance. They put up a charmastic and perfectly synchronized performance of their hit song "Janus". Immediately after the song, they all tried to connect with their fans by doing their routine intros in English followetd by a Q&A session.

Since this was the second time Boyfriend visited Singapore, Boyfriend shared during the Q&A session that they miss their Singapore fans. They always want to come Singapore for fanmeet and were overwhelmed by the response they received that evening. Boyfriend promised upon the emcee's request that the next time they come to Singapore, they will hold a concert. The promise has got fans hyped up. Youngmin said he would love to visit Merlion while Donghyun wished to visit "Singapore Clubs". The playful him also gestured some clubbing movements that got the other members to follow. Boyfriend expressed their happiness that their latest album "Janus" has achieved good results and because of that, they are able to release and show performances to the fans. Boyfriend also revealed that they will be acting in a Japanese movie and asked the fans to look out for them. Dong Hyun made the audience go wild by saying "Konnichiwa" and "Aishiteru" (which means "Hello" and "I Love You" in Japanese respectively). Young Min tried to impress with his chinese by saying "Wo Ai Ni" and "Xin Nia Kuai Le" (which means "I Love You" and "Happy New Year"). The emcee tried to bring Boyfriend even more to their Singapore fans by teaching them 2 "Singlish" words ("Colloquial Singaporean English") to describe pretty girls in Singapore. The boys were all motivated to learn upon hearing that.

After the Q&A session, Boyfriend performed "Don't Touch My Girl" and "I'll Be There". While the boys were preparing for their solo stage, there was also giveaway session where the emcee gave away autographed albums and towels to fans who answered the questions correctly. The fans of Boyfriend are no doubt their Bestfriends. In-depth questions such as Hyun Seong's star sign, Kwang Min and Young Min's younger brother, who is most camera shy, Dong Hyun's blood type, Minwoo's nickname etc were asked and were not difficult for them.

Dong Hyun was the first to perform his solo stage "Listen". In the mid of his performance, he invited a lucky fan to the stage to sit while he sang and presented flowers to her. Towards the end of his solo, they even took a polaroid together. Seeing it, the fans were all filled with envy. Apart from Dong Hyun, the other members also had their solo stages. Hyun Seong performed "Trippin'" and Jeong Min performed My Dear". The twin, Young Min and Kwang Min, chose to dance Justin Bieber "Baby" while Minwoo got the fans grooving to his dance TCB Wale "Bait".

The most fun and intimate moments came during the Game session. Bestfriends not only have to know their idols very well, they also have to know how to attract their idols' attention. At this point, all their fans were almost standing up and screaming their bias' name, hoping to be chosen. Seeing the enthusiasm from their fans, Boyfriend get exceptionally excited too. Apart from giving autographed albums to the lucky fans, they also obliged to special request such as a hug from the lucky fans. Not only so, Boyfriend also constantly acknowleged the fans who sat at the audience with flying kisses and hearts.

A birthday surprise event was planned for Dong Hyun. Immediately after the Game session, a birthday video especially done for Dong Hyun was played on the screen. The fans sang him birthday song in both English and Korean and he cut the cake after which. Dong Hyun was thankful for the birthday surprise and wished to have this moment to last forever. Boyfriend continued the fan meeting with the last two songs "Love Style" and "I Yah" before bidding goodbye to the fans. Reluctant to see them leave, fans screamed for encores. Boyfriend returned back to the stage and performed "Boyfriend" and "Super Hero". The mood was exceptionally high at this moment for both Boyfriend and their fans. All the fans dashed from their seats to the front of the stage and the boys tried to show their love for their fans by posing for photos, sending fly kisses.

Boyfriend indeed is the perfect other half for the fans. Though it was a short two hours performance, it was a romantic evening filled with love and fun for Bestfriends.
