"It's been a long time comin' but we here now... And we 'bout to set the roof on fire baby (Uh oh)...eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh (2NE1)...eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh (You gotta ring the alarm)"!

Thousands of anticipated fans who have flooded in front of the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur promptly went crazy as the girls of 2NE1 entered the stage as the penultimate act of the night, for the Twin Towers @Live 2013.  The other main act for the night was world boyband Backstreet Boys. 

Upon arriving few hours before the show started, the quartet gave an energetic performance as they belted off their debut song, 'Fire' followed by 'Can't Nobody'. The energy was contagious as fans were singing along and explodes in excitement seeing the girls for the first time on Malaysian soil. The girls decided to cool down a little the 'temperature' at the Malaysia's iconic Twin Towers by singing 'Lonely'. As this song damper their signature auto-tune and disco-beat songs, their voices flowed beautifully.

Immediately after they finished this song, the MC's came in on the stage and asked them to introduce themselves. To the fans surprise, they greeted the fans in Malay language. The MC's also taught them to say 'Saya Cinta Malaysia' which literally meant 'I Love Malaysia' and they uttered it fluently. Not only that, since the show was on the gorgeous Park Bom's birthday eve, the fans have a birthday surprised for her and together sang a 'Happy Birthday' song. A cake was presented for her on the stage and she blew the candles before thanking everyone for a sweet and memorable celebration. The girls also promised that they would try one of the famous Malaysian delicacies Nasi Lemak before they headed back to Seoul.

Three songs and a small birthday celebration were just appetizers. The night was still young and the crowd hungered for more. The girls continued the show with their next set of hits repertoire, 'Ugly' and 'I Am the Best' before wrapping up with 'I Love You'. This concert has proven that 2NE1 were the 'Queens' on stage and Malaysian fans were lucky to witness them LIVE in action.

Fans in Malaysia are making a wish for 2NE1 to come back to Kuala Lumpur for a full concert in the future.
