The wait is over for JYP Entertainment's newest six-member boy band DAY6!

On September 1, the first teaser video for DAY6's upcoming mini-album was released through the official JYP Entertainment YouTube page. Their upcoming single and mini-album both are titled "Congratulations." 

The teaser also includes acting by Choi Woo Shik and Jang Hee Ryung, two of JYP's own acting talent.

In the clip, Choi Woo Shik plays a man who comes across his old girlfriend (Jang Hee Ryung) with a new boyfriend. Seeing her causes a painful string of memories of their time together, which bleeds seamlessly into a powerful set of rock chords and what listeners can only assume is the start of song's chorus. In the clip the members of DAY6 are seen positioned at their instruments as they play a short glimpse of their debut track.

DAY6 has been playing live shows around the club scene in Hongdae to prepare and practice for their official debut. The group was originally named 5Live, but JYP Entertainment rebranded them with the addition of a sixth member and created DAY6 instead.

Fans are eager to see DAY6 debut as many are familiar with the groups' members from an episodic feature on YG Entertainment's reality competition program WIN: Who Is Next. Additionally, following Wonder Girls' take on a band concept, fans are curious to see how the band trend will continue with DAY6.
