Fans Claim Death In Response To Jonghyun's 'End Of A Day' Music Video

Have you ever heard a song so exciting and yet so emotionally moving that you felt the need to die?

Well if you haven't, perhaps you should listen to SHINee's Jonghyun.

Sept. 17, SHINee's Jonghyun revealed the music video for his latest solo single "End of a Day." The singer and now credited songwriter premiered the music video via the increasingly popular V app. The song "End of a Day" marks the release of Jonghyun's second solo album entitled "Story Op. 1."

In response to the music video, fans are having the somewhat absurd reaction that they are dying while listening to the song.

Death seems to be the popular sentiment among fans on YouTube with the highest rated comment expressing the notion in the simplest of phrases.

"I'm dead," said Frida Jakobsen.

This was followed by one fan stating that they were not yet dead, but on the brink of it.

"God, I'm ready to die now," explained Jongins.

According to Soompi, Jonghyun's special mini album "Story Op. 1" consists of nine songs produced, written, and composed by Jonghyun. Jonghyun will follow the release of the album with his first solo concert entitled "The Story by Jonghyun." The concert will take place on Oct. 2.

While Jonghyun begins promotions for his solo work, SHINee has finished their 2015 comeback for their album "Odd" and its repackage version, "Married to the Music." The title track "View," which was also written by Jonghyun, topped several charts and won the group several performance trophies.

Additionally, SHINee's "View" music video was the most viewed K-pop music video for the month of May. Following that, fans also praised SHINee's "Married to the Music" video for its originality.

It seems the other boys of SHINee will get their chance to get a break, but so far it looks like Jonghyun is more than comfortable making music round the clock.
