Miami Heat News: Eric Spoelstra Says Dwyane Wade Will Now Play Without Restrictions

The Miami Heat missed last year's playoffs but with a reinforced line-up, it looks like Dwyane Wade's team is a force to be reckoned with now.

The Heat managed to acquire promising rookie Justise Winslow, explosive dunker and scorer Gerald Green and veteran Amare Stoudemire while also retaining key pieces Chris Bosh, Goran Dragic, and Hassan Whiteside.

Now, it's up to their coach if he can take them to the promise land once again. Eric Spoelstra, believes that he can as he plans to put Wade out there without any restrictions anymore. The guard spent most of the past seasons on the sidelines due to injuries but it looks like he is totally healthy heading into this season.

"Dwyane has to be our leader," Spoelstra said via Yahoo Sports. "He's grown in that role and with new veteran players, everybody naturally turns to Dwyane as the cornerstone of our franchise and they turn to (Chris Bosh) and they turn to (Udonis Haslem). He's fully accepted that responsibility.

"Dwyane is coming into this season ready for whatever challenges it brings, and I'm not coaching him with restrictions in mind. We'll adapt and be aware of anything that may come up as the season goes on."

He also said that he learned a lot from last season and he plans to incorporate those shortcomings to their system this season.

''Yes, there's some things I would have done differently,'' Spoelstra said in an interview with reporters via Yahoo Sports. ''Is it necessary for me to go through the whole autopsy right now? No. I take responsibility for it and that's where it should be. It should be on my shoulders."

"I'm not running away from that. And now my energy and my focus is on this team, with big expectations. And you know what? That's the way we like it.''
