Motorola Droid Turbo 2 More Masculine Than Predecessor; How Is It Compared To The OnePlus 2?

The upcoming Motorola Droid Turbo 2 is expected to flaunt a more masculine built as compared to its predecessor.

The device, which is carrying the international name Motorola X Force, will don a difent look as compared to the other variants of the Moto X line, the Neurogadget reported.

The tech site explained that the masculinity of its design can be attributed to how its back looks like "because Motorola used more advanced materials to make the back."

The Neurogadget further narrated that the Motorola Droid Turbo 2's contruction is "very solid and the design is unusual in comparison to other Android devices" especially with its industrial built.

It noted that most Android devices' backs are made of plastic which is either in shiny or matte finish.

Meanwhile, the tech site revealed that when compared to OnePlus 2, it falls short in terms of its processor.

It can be observed that the competitor, which was released last month, boasts of a "64bit architecture and brought the fastest processor, Snapdragon 810 with eight cores, which is powering the Chinese device" while the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 is made of a 32bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad core processor running at 2.7GHz.

However, Neurogadget shared that in terms of battery, the Motorola-produced gadget wins the race as it has a 3900mAh, compared to OnePlus 2's 3300mAh.

With such battery capacity, the device can continue running for two days even when making calls over 3G.

In the meantime, the International Business Times reported that the new version of the Motorola Droid Turbo will be released by October.

Accordingly, the device will only be available through Verizon.

The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 is an addition to the units launched by the mobile company in 2015, like the Moto X Style, Moto X Play and Moto G 2015.
