Milwaukee Bucks News: Giannis Antetokounmpo To Get Jabari Parker's Minutes?

The Milwaukee Bucks are so loaded with talent that they can afford to give Jabari Parker all the time he needs to get back to top shape.

The second overall pick of the 2014 NBA draft suffered a torn ACL last season which forced him to miss the rest of last season. Now, he is poised to return and he is now as healthy as ever.

However, coach Jason Kidd is not taking any risks and said that they have a bright future with this kid healthy more than letting him go play significant minutes after a serious injury.

''We're not going to rush him back. This is a bigger picture,'' coach Jason Kidd said via Yahoo Sports.

''For Jabari, he's had a chance to be in the weight room and he's work extremely hard there,'' Kidd said. ''Now it's just a matter of time under his belt to get back to playing basketball.''

That is seconded by GM John Hammond and he said even if the young forward wants more playing time, they might not give him that anytime soon.

''If we think he can play 30 minutes, we'll probably play him 15,'' general manager John Hammond said. ''Wherever he might be, we're always going to be cautious with him.''

In a separate interview, GM John Hammond said in a recent podcast, that they can even put the "Greek Freak" Giannis Antetokounmpo in the center position but that might not be necessary as he can get Parker's minutes.

"I love the fact that with our roster," Hammond said. "I think moving forward, I love the thought of small-ball for us, potentially if there's ever a matchup situation where you say 'they're going to go small, how do we match up with that,' whoever that team may be, I think you play Giannis Antetokounmpo at center."
