NBA Trade Rumors: Latest On Taj Gibson, Mario Chalmers And Chris Andersen

Key veterans are now the headlines of NBA trade rumors as Taj Gibson, Mario Chalmers and Chris Andersen will allegedly be moved before or during the next season.

First up is the Chicago Bulls veteran who has been shelved for almost the rest of his career due to a deep Chicago Bulls frontcourt. He is also one of the best reserves in the league right now, and should the Bulls move him, they will get someone of significant value.

The only question is, they don't know who that person is per Dan Forman of Pro Basketball Talk.

"Once the Celtics traded Rajon Rondo, Gibson took over his title as the player who was involved in the most trade rumors without actually being traded. The Bulls have a crowded frontcourt between Gibson, Pau Gasol, Joakim Noah and Nikola Mirotic, and Gibson is on a great contract," Feldman wrote.

"If Noah has a bounceback season, it could make it more likely that Gar Forman and John Paxson finally pull the trigger on a Gibson trade. But they'd have to get a player who can help them right now, and it's unclear who that might be."

Meanwhile, two veterans from the Miami Heat have been part of the NBA trade rumors for quite some time now. Mario Chalmers and Chris Andersen are valuable pieces of the Miami Heat squad, however, their salaries put the Heat over the salary cap.

Coach Eric Spoelstra, signals that they are likely to be traded and he believes that both will understand the situation as they are pros.

"Our owner and our president are committed to doing whatever it takes to win in this league. Whatever gives us the best chance to attack those expectations, we're going to do it," Spoelstra said via Heat Zone.

"We know what they can do, versus the unknown, and we also care about them. I care about Rio. I've coached Rio for eight years. You develop a relationship with him," Spoelstra referring to Mario Chalmers.

"I care about Chris. We were all instrumental in bringing him here, and that was for a reason. They understand. They're pros. They know we care about them and they know it's a business."
