Lovato and Rodriguez previously worked together on the second season of Rodriguez's El Rey Network hit "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series."

"I was so impressed by Demi's fearless performance as a guest star on my TV series 'From Dusk Till Dawn' that I jumped at the chance to direct her video," said Robert Rodriguez.

"I basically treated this like we were shooting a high octane action film, because she has the presence and star power to pull it off.  She's incredible."

Lovato's Confident album is set for release October 16 on the eve of her performance on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" with guest host Tracy Morgan.  The album will be released on Hollywood Records/Island Records/Safehouse Records.
