Nexus 5X Specs, Details & Release Date, The Upgrades Are Too Good To Be True

Nexus 5X Specs are a resurrection of all things good with smartphones.

The last time LG came out with the Nexus 5 it was simple, durable and was at a price that was practically a steal during the time that it was introduced into the market. Despite the number of other devices being released in the same year, the Nexus 5 was able to hold its own. Now LG and Google want to bring that back with the Nexus 5X.

The phone isn’t a carbon copy of the previous model; especially since the Nexus 5X specs are different and more current. The Nexus 5X is slightly bigger than its predecessor with the smartphone measuring 5.2-inches and has some new features from the software to the hardware.

According to Gizmodo, some of the Nexus 5X specs include a Nexus Imprint (fingerprint sensor), Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Snapdragon 808, 2GB with 16GB and 32GB variants, 13MP primary camera, 5MP front camera and a fast charging feature among others.

The phone costs $380 and is very reasonable considering the features that are included. Plus there is a new service that will allow consumers to rest easy if their phones get accidentally broken or malfunctioned. For only $70 a service called “Nexus Protect” will cover mechanical and accidental damage for up to 2 years.

The Nexus 5X is not yet available in the market but those who are interested can pre-order the Nexus 5X from the Google Store. When the phone gets officially released it will be available on all major U.S. carriers and will be available in over 40 more countries, as reported by the Verge.
