First there was "The Bachelor" star Chris Soules reportedly being eyed by Kris Jenner to join the "KUWTK" cast to romance Kourtney Kardashian. Now, there's the latest news going around that the momager is looking at Selena Gomez to help Rob Kardashian on his 2015 comeback after his weight gain.

According to OK! magazine, as shared by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Kris Jenner is trying to get somebody famous to date her son, who's been battling to shed off the excess weight, to make his 2015 comeback more successful.

"Selena is just Rob's type," the source claimed. "He is totally crushing on her. Rob once called Selena his dream girl, and Kris has been plotting ever since."

But there's a hitch to this plan, however, as Selena Gomez has reportedly a long-standing feud with Kendall Jenner over Justin Bieber.

If that doesn't work, Kris Jenner allegedly has a backup plan and that's to hook Rob Kardashian up with "TOWIE's" Ferne McCann for his 2015 comeback.

And if the latest news reports about Rob Kardashian and the "TOWIE" star are true, this is something that Kris Jenner won't even have to lift a finger to make it happen.

"Reality TV royalty on each side of the Atlantic came together two years ago, when Ferne, 25, met the unusually reclusive Kardashian brother, Rob , on a night out in Las Vegas," said Daily Mirror. "The pair swapped numbers and have kept in touch on Whatsapp and email."

The tabloid added that Rob Kardashian is planning to visit Ferne McCann later this year in the UK where they can meet up.

"Rob likes Ferne because she is more down-to-earth than the girls he is used to in LA and he finds her easy to talk to," the source claimed.

But does Rob Kardshian really need a love interest to make a successful comeback? Judging from his Instagram followers and the latest news about the reality star, just dropping the weight and appearing in the "KUWTK" will make that happen.
