"The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco seems to be burying herself in work following the divorce announcement with Ryan Sweeting last month.

On Thursday, Kaley Cuoco looked stunning while attending the Longines Masters Gala in Los Angeles.

"She showed off a big smile as she stepped out for the first time since rumors surfaced that she had split with Ryan because of his addiction to painkillers," Daily Mail said.

For the event, "The Big Bang Theory" actress wore a "black mini dress by Giambattista Valli which featured dramatically draped sleeves and highlighted her toned pins."

She even took the time to smile for the cameras along with friend, Ashee Bond, who wore an Adrianna Papell oyster pink beaded maxi dressf ro the event.

A rep for the couple confirmed the divorce filing to People in a statement which read, "Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."

Later, rumors about his painkiller addiction surfaced, which was blamed for the divorce.

Us Weekly claimed that Ryan Sweeting got hooked on painkillers following his surgery from a tennis injury last year.

The tennis player previously had a record back in college when he was arrested for drug possession.

Kaley Cuoco allegedly tried to be supportive at first but then her husband Ryan Sweeting has resorted to lying about the painkillers, which forced her to file for divorce.

"She supported him but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober," the insider alleged. "He'd tell her he was working on it and instead go get wasted."

To date, Kaley Cuoco and husband Ryan Sweeting have yet to issue a statement regarding her alleged addiction to painkillers. The ex-couple marked their first wedding anniversay on the New Year.
