"The Bachelorette" stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth's rumored breakup is allegedly true but they are reportedly too scared about what the news might do to their fame.

According to new rumors from In Touch Weekly, per OK! magazine, the breakup between Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth happened a few months ago, and they are just playing their respective roles for the cameras.

During the New York Fashion Week, for instance, the two seemed like they couldn't get enough of each other. But when the photographers stopped clicking, they immediately "ended their PDA."

"They immediately stopped holding hands," the insider claimed. "Kaitlyn jumped on her phone while Shawn sat there checking out the beautiful models. They acted like total strangers."

The source went on to add, "Their relationship turned into a business deal. They're sticking it out for the fame and money."

Breakup rumors have been hounding Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth after their stint ended on "The Bachelorette."

But without directly addressing the rumors, the couple almost always has a response. For example, the Instagram post where the two appeared to be naked on the bed while taking a selfie.

According to Life & Style magazine, the wedding is not "even close to happening" for the couple.

Shawn Booth told the tabloid that they haven't talked about any date yet as he said that "We're just trying to enjoy the engagement."

"They still haven't even moved in together," the source told the tabloid. "They also were talking about doing all of these projects together, but they aren't working on anything!"

In an interview with People, however, Shawn Booth said that he's enjoying his time together with "The Bachelorette" star Kaitlyn Bristowe.

"We just want to enjoy the moment right now. It's been so crazy," he said. "We just want to hang out as a normal couple, do a little traveling and then sit down and start making some plans."
