Cleveland Cavaliers Superstar LeBron James Want Tristan Thompson Dispute Settled As Soon As Possible

The Tristan Thompson saga in Cleveland looks like it will take some time before it gets settled. Apparently, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the young forward couldn't meet halfway on a contract that will benefit both parties.

In fact, the Cleveland Cavaliers held out Thompson from participating in training camp and his items sold in stores are being pulled out. It looks like the Cavs are trying to make a point and if Thompson does not comply, it looks like they will have to part ways as early as now.

Due to the recent incident, LeBron James couldn't help but get a bit frustrated with how things are shaping up and he is hoping that both sides will resolve it quick.

"I'm not here to talk about numbers, things of that nature, because that's for them, for both sides to figure out," James said via Dave McMenamin at ESPN.com. "The last thing you need is a distraction when you try to make a championship run. And we have that right now. And it's unfortunate for both sides that we're going through it right now as a team. It's not an excuse, we will be ready to go but hopefully something happens in the near future."

It is quite ironic that James said earlier in the off-season that Tristan Thompson is a lock to play for them next season and it looked like the real contract talk will begin next season.

Nevertheless, James said that he will focus instead and he commended his other teammates for working hard in training camp.

"Right now, my thoughts are just about the guys that are here and how hard and how well they are working and no specific expectation otherwise," he said, per ESPN.com's Dave McMenamin. "Just happy to see our guys working as well as they are."
