Sacramento Kings News: All Is Well Between DeMarcus Cousins And Coach George Karl

Finally, the rift between Sacramento Kings head coach George Karl and superstar center DeMarcus Cousins is as good as gone as they are reportedly meshing well with each other.

It is worth noting that both Karl and Cousins had a rough relationship during the off-season after Karl said that the management should trade Cousins.

After all the commotion, both have finally come to terms and they are now solid as a rock per Cousins.

"That's my guy," Cousins said via Yahoo Sports, even saying that he and his coach is closer than ever.

According to Yahoo Sports, Karl took the blame for saying that every player in the rotation is tradable and he apologized to all persons involved especially to DeMarcus Cousins in the Vivac-facilitated meeting.

"What I said, I should not have said," Karl stressed last Friday. "But we all make mistakes. I make mistakes with game-planning, make mistakes coaching. DeMarcus makes mistakes. I think he was a little surprised (laugh) to hear me say that I make mistakes and that I'm going to 'bleep up' again."

"To be honest with you, I apologized to DeMarcus for making the trade comment that I've never coached a player that's untradeable," Karl told Christensen. "That was wrong for me to say, because you all (the media) took it and blew it up into crazy."

The coach admitted that it was wrong to say those things, and with that said, Sacramento will at least start the season on the right foot.

"But it's my responsibility to be smart enough to not say things like that," Karl continued. "So I did apologize because I thought that was the only thing, maybe some other things, but really the only thing that got us separated was that comment that then everybody wrote the we're going to trade [Cousins]."
