Two weeks from now, the most explosive fight between Gennady "Triple G" Golovkin and David Lemieux is set to happen and there is a huge chance someone might come out with a knockout victory.

The Kazakh boxer is notorious for being known as a knockout artist as 30 of his 33 victories came by the way of knockout. On the other corner, Lemieux have an equally impressive resume as 31 out of his 34 victories were knockouts as well.

But, despite that, Lemieux is still viewed as an underdog heading into this fight. So what does he have to say about that?

"On Oct. 17 history will be made," Lemieux said via Opening Round. "Golovkin is a very good fighter, but we're also a very good fighter. Being the underdog will make it better when I win. I'm the big underdog in this fight and it's fine by me."

"I have a lot of confidence in myself. The fighter with the biggest heart will be the difference. We're both big punchers. Let's see beyond that. Power is not something that frightens me."

Meanwhile, Golovkin acknowledges his opponent as he believes that it will be a tough fight.

"This is going to be like a street fight," Golovkin said via Opening Round. "He has a good style - almost like amateur style. I will beat any style - amateur style or brawl style. He will be a good test for me."

He is not expecting anything less from Lemieux as this fight not only puts his undefeated streak on the line, but this is also a unification bout.

"Lemieux is a champion and he feels like a champion and this is a unification fight. I think he is ready for a unification fight and he understands the situation. He is smarter now because of his experience in his recent fights."
