Louis Tomlinson couldn't wait to meet his baby with Briana Jungwirth as the 23-year-old revealed that he would take advantage of the break with One Direction to bond with his son.

STV Glasgow, as reported by Daily Mail, talked to Louis Tomlinson and asked him if he's anticipating the birth of his baby with Briana Jungwirth.

"Yeah, I'm very excited," he said.

When asked if he's going to spend more time with his tot during the break, he added, "Yeah, it's going to be really nice."

One Direction producer has said that they are taking a break for about a year to work on their solo materials and also spend more time with their families.

"I know they're taking a much-deserved break," he said. "They've been doing something that no band has ever done - five albums, five tours, and a movie in five years. It's pretty prolific and incredible.

It's up to them. They might take a year off and miss it. They might take a year off and say you know what, I need another year off."

Louis Tomlinson also confirmed the news on his Twitter, although he quickly added that they are not breaking up but rather taking a break.

Back in August, Louis Tomlinson was a guest on "Live! with Kelly and Michael" where host Michael Strahan asked, "Louis, from one father to another I want to congratulate you on your upcoming fatherhood. So how are you feeling?"

"Thank you. Obviously it's a very exciting time, so I'm buzzing," Louis Tomlinson replied.

The news about Briana Jungwirth carrying a baby that Louis Tomlinson fathered was reported on July 14.

A source told Us Weekly. "Louis didn't expect this, but he's excited for it now. He's become very close friends with Briana this year and now they are looking forward to being parents. He's definitely going to be there and be a great dad for their baby."
