'Winds Of Winter' Spoilers: Peace Restored By The 'Good Guys;' Finn Jones Shares His Take On Ending

Finn Jones, the actor who plays Loras Tyrell in "Game of Thrones" dished some spoilers of his own on George R. R. Martin's novels even as the release date of "Winds of Winter" has yet to be revealed.

During the New York Comic Con, Finn Jones (Loras Tyrell) shared his own theory about how the "Game of Thrones" will end.

"So basically, I think there will be a huge battle between ice and fire," he said. "They'll have different factions. I think the ice and fire will completely destroy themselves in this great war. They'll destroy the whole of Westeros."

He continued, "They'll dissolve the Iron Throne because they have to - because they have to use the steel. And then I think - a lot of people have died - and I think out of the ashes will come the tree people, and a select few people I think will [something] Westeros and give back power to the people.

'Dream of Spring,' is that the last book? Yeah, this idea of regrowth. And, I think maybe it will be Bran, Hodor, maybe Brienne, Tyrion, just good guys that want to give peace back to the realm."

While that theory is interesting, George R. R. Martin might just shock everybody as he is wont to do. Fans will just have to content themselves with the spoilers for now as the author has yet to reveal the release date for "Winds of Winter."

As to the release date of "Winds of Winter," the editor of Ediciones Gigamesh-which owns the rights to George R. R. Martin's novels-said that they expect the author to deliver the manuscript next year.

"We have been promised the manuscript in advance of the release in English which we will translate, there won't be a big difference," he said.

Of course, while Cuervo is short of dishing any "Winds of Winter" spoilers, he said that there could also chance that it won't happen "should a meteor fall."
