Chris Soules has dished some advice to incoming "The Bachelor" Ben Higgins as Whitney Bischoff has revealed that she's dating now "casually."

In an interview with Today, Prince Farming said, "We talked a little bit and I was able to give him some advice."

"There were a lot of things, a lot of little details we talked about, but the main thing was just going with your gut," he added. "Be prepared for the unexpected. There's really no way to truly prepare for what he's about to go through."

Chris Soules was the searcher in "The Bachelor" season 19 where he gave the final rose to Whitney Bischoff. They split in May.

Speaking about his time on the reality show, he said that while he's thankful for the experience, he won't do it all over again.

Meanwhile, Chris Soules' ex Whitney Bischoff told Us Weekly that she's seeing others after the split with "The Bachelor" star.

"I'm just casually dating," she said. "I don't know that I have a specific person that I'm looking for. I think that in general it's someone who makes me a better person, makes me happy, makes me laugh, and shares a common interest, so I don't know if there's a big stereotype with that."

"Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement," the statement announcing their split said. "They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends. They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey."

"The Bachelor" star Chris Soules revealed back in June that his engagement with Whitney Carson was real despite the criticisms that it was manufactured for the show.

"Well, we got engaged on the show," he said. "She had the ring, the whole nine yards. We tried to make it work. We tried to figure things out in the real world. It's much different in the real world than it is on TV, you know, on a television show. You kind of get the opportunity to, you know, actually experience real life together..."
