Miguel Cotto Vs. Canelo Alvarez Fight Predictions: Odds In Favor Of Mexican Boxer

As the fight between Miguel Cotto and Canelo Alvarez inches closer, boxing analysts are starting to make their own predictions and make their bets on who they think will win this phenomenal fight.

Not only will it be a battle between youth and experience, the pride of two countries are also on the line as the storied boxing rivalry between Puerto Rico and Mexico will once again be renewed.

Moving on to the Miguel Cotto vs. Canelo Alvarez fight predictions, many boxing analysts believe that Cotto might have a hard time overcoming the tremendous potential Alvarez possesses despite a decade worth of experience.

Per Miguel Rivera of BoxingScene.com: "I think it will be an exciting fight, but I clearly think Canelo will win, and I even see him winning by knockout. I don't think Cotto can deal with [the] youth, strength and speed of Canelo."

Meanwhile, Boxing News Online seconded the idea and the website stated that Alvarez' youth might prove too much for Cotto to overcome.

"At 25 years old, Alvarez is almost a decade younger than his adversary. Now entering his peak years in the sport, there could not be a better time for 'Canelo' to oppose Cotto," as stated in the website via Bleacher Report.

The website further stated that Alvarez' match with Mayweather two years ago has translated to maturity and confidence that will definitely show in his fight against Cotto.

"Saul's superfight with Mayweather in 2013 seemingly came too early for the Juanacatlán idol, who was still developing on the big stage. Having learned invaluable lessons from his one and only defeat, Alvarez will feel supremely confident heading into his second truly elite-level encounter.

The fight is happening on Nov. 21 in Las Vegas.
