Snooki Polizzi 2015 Interview: Former Wild Child Opens Up About Life After ‘Jersey Shore’

Snooki Polizzi opened up in a 2015 interview about she has moved on from being the wild child on "Jersey Shore."

According to a feature in She Knows, the former reality star seems to have gotten tired of her crazy partying days.

Now 27-years-old, the married mother-of-two is proud of how she has matured ever since the hit MTV series ended in 2012. The petite celebrity even prefers to now be called by her real name: Nicole Polizzi.

"I'm not the girl from 'Jersey Shore' anymore," she said.

"I can't continue to play that role because I'm a mom. I have two kids and I'm healthy."

"Jersey Shore" aired for three years and featured Snooki Polizzi as its notorious lead star who regularly got into drunken sprees and fights with co-stars.

Even though fans have been praising her for being able to change, Snooki Polizzi admitted in her 2015 interview that she needed time to adjust.

"Going to from being a young party girl to settling down, getting married, having kids - I mean it's a totally different world," she confessed.

"Sometimes I catch myself still trying to get used to it, but it's the whole aspect of growing up."

Snooki Polizzi shared that she gets to unwind occasionally. "The No. 1 thing to being a great mom is to have time to yourself," she pointed out.

"Once or twice a month, I go out to a club and have fun."

"I mean, I'm not dead; I'm a mom," she jokingly added.

Aside from Snooki Polizzi's 2015 interview, The Street reported how her transformation was detailed in her latest book, "Strong Is the New Sexy."

"It's basically a whole book about how I changed myself for the better," she shared. "Fitness, inspiration, motivation, all that good stuff. It's in the book."

Prior to Snooki Polizzi's latest 2015 interview and the release of her new book, she and her family recently made news as they were dragged into the controversial Ashley Madison cheating scandal. The rumor mill went abuzz after the alleged email address of her husband, Jionni LaValle, was included in the cheating website's leaked list of account holders.

According to a previous report from Mirror UK, the feisty reality star was quick to deny her husband's involvement.

"Jionni is the the most humble, respectful, and most loyal souls I know," she said in an Instagram post.

"He's a stand-up guy who loves his family more than anything in this world."

"My husband did not sign up on that website to cheat on me. Honestly, if he wanted to cheat - he would go out and do it. Not sign up on a website and pay for it," she scoffed.
