Maddie Ziegler has been busy filming her debut movie, but her team ALDC LA still manages to dominate the Sheer Talent Special Edition Competition in Glendale on Oct. 10, according to the latest spoilers and news for "Dance Moms" season 6.

Is this a sign that the team can also move on without its star dancer?

"The ALDC's specialty group dance, titled 'The Girl in the Plastic Bubble,' placed first in the teen division," IBTimes reported. "Abby's star student, Maddie Ziegler, was listed in the competition's program but did not compete with her team."

The 13-year-old is of course busy filming "The Book of Henry" with Naomi Watts, which is going to be her debut movie about a mother who is raising two boys by herself. One of the boys is a genius.

But fans of former "Dance Mom" star Chloe Lukasiak blasted Maddie Ziegler for harping about her role in the movie which is just very minor.

"Who the hell is Maddie Z? Why all the media fuss on her for a film in which she is only have a minor supporting role?" one wrote, as reported by Yibada.

Previous spoilers and news reports on the "Dance Moms" season 6 star revealed that Maddie Ziegler has already hinted about leaving the show.

Back in June, she was interviewed by MTV Australia and she wasn't certain then if she's coming back for season 6.

"I particularly want more acting. I've been auditioning a lot and I definitely want to act. My favorite TV show is 'Pretty Little Liars' and I actually made a guest appearance on it. I didn't really have lines for my character but I definitely want to get more into those kinds of shows," she said.
