Manny Pacquiao Considered As Best P4P Boxer Now By WBC Champ Timothy Bradley?

Now that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is officially retired, the debate on who is the next best fighter is on.

According to ABS-CBN News, WBC Welterweight Champ Timothy Bradley said that Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is now the best P4P boxer but it is a tight race between him and American boxer Andre Ward.

He also said that right now, there is no one comparable to the undefeated American boxer.

"There will never be another Mayweather, probably not in this era right now," said Bradley in On The Ropes Boxing.

"But there is room to be the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the game. I think right now it's a toss up between Manny Pacquiao and possibly Andre Ward - who are two sensational fighters."

This was seconded by boxing commentator Larry Merchant as he also said that Pacquiao is now holding the belt for the best fighter in the world.

''I think Floyd is one of the best fighters of his time and that's all you can really know about a fighter. People have asked me this question a lot and I say, well I think Floyd is the best pure boxer of his time and Pacquiao is the best fighter," Merchant said in The News Hub.

Also, he shared his thoughts on the now cancelled negotiations between Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao's camp. According to Bradley, the British boxer will be in for a lot of surprise especially Pac-Man's powerful left hand, which will cause his defeat.

"I think the only downside from Amir Khan's standpoint would be that Manny is the harder puncher in that fight," he said.

"I know Amir might be the quicker guy but Manny is the harder puncher and if Manny lands on Amir - there's no way of strengthening a chin and Danny Garcia was able to knock him out, Prescott was able to knock him out - Manny Pacquiao has the ability to knock Amir out."
