Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth have reportedly been conspiring to keep Prince William grounded, literally.

According to rumors, the Duchess of Cambridge has been asking Queen Elizabeth to convince the Duke of Cambridge to quit his job as an ambulance pilot and spend more time with the kids.

"Queen Elizabeth takes demands from no one - usually," said Celebrity Dirty Laundry. "But it looks like she may have given in to the Duchess of Cambridge's request because she is desperate for the couple to work out their differences and fix their fractured marriage. Queen Elizabeth may have thought that some time at home with Prince George and Princess Charlotte would be good for the Cambridges."

It was rumored that Kate Middleton and Prince William have been having marriage troubles since the Duchess reportedly suffered from post-partum depression after giving birth to Princess Charlotte.

The rumors went on to add that Queen Elizabeth has ordered Kate Middleton and Prince William to tend to their duties after the Duchess has skipped several activities in the past because of her post-partum depression.

The Palace, which is quick to denounce any false reports concerning the royals, has not given an official statement regarding the post-partum depression.

In Prince William's stead, Kate Middleton has asked Queen Elizabeth to give Prince Harry more responsibilities as a royal and attend all the events that they are required to do.

"The Duchess has grown weary of the endless joint and solo royal appearances she and Wills have had to make since she came back from maternity leave - and she thinks it's time for Harry to take on more royal meet-and-greets," CDL added.

To his credit, Prince Harry has been attending some events lately such as the Wounded 17 mile trek and World Rugby Cup, including the reception at Buckingham Palace with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, as well as the Well Child Awards.
