Watch Gennady Golovkin Vs. David Lemieux Live Stream Here; Odds In Favor Of Kazakh Boxer

At last, the time has come for Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux to prove who is the better fighter but the odds are currently in favor of the Kazakh boxer, Golovkin. Who will prevail?

Here are some predictions from boxing analysts via Bad Left Hook. According to Wil Esco, Golovkin will be too much for Lemieux.

"Both Golovkin and Lemieux are great punchers, but the main difference is Golovkin has the much, much better boxing ability between the two," said Esco. "Lemieux can only fight coming forward with aggression, which will invariably walk him right into harm's way - and he can't switch to boxing once he gets hurt. I see a fun, action-packed fight that ends early. Golovkin KO-4."

Meanwhile, Patrick Connor from Top Men Boxing Radio is all in on Golovkin winning via stoppage.

"David Lemieux can dish it out just fine, but his durability has been an issue before. The puncher vs. puncher match up should be exciting, but any result outside of a Golovkin win by stoppage would be surprising. Golovkin by stoppage," Connor said.

Lastly, Scott Christ said that the talent level between the two is just far too great with Golovkin being the better man.

"There's just too much in Golovkin's game for a fighter like Lemieux to handle. The only chance that the challenger (well, he's a fellow titleholder, but we all see him as the 'challenger' here) has is to hurt Golovkin early and finish him off," Christ said.

Golovkin can't hide his excitement heading into this fight as he believes this will be huge for the sport.

"This is a new story for boxing, very good for boxing," Golovkin said via Town Hall. "I remember a long time ago when boxing was very famous. Now there's not as much interest, but there could be."
