"The Witness," starring Luhan, will simultaneously screen at select theaters in the U.S., Korea, and China.

Several Chinese media sources including Sina Entertainment confirmed the premiere date of the film and overseas screenings, following a Beijing press conference that was attended by members of the production.

On October 14, Luhan, Yang Mi (Tiny Times), Zhu Ya Wen (Bride Wars) and Korean director, Ahn Sang Hoon (Empire of Lust), attended a Beijing-area press conference for the upcoming film.

Luhan praised his co-stars, throughout the press conference. "Zhu Ya Wen is an upright man," said Luhan, in a statement published by Sina.

He also weighed in on whether he would consider marriage, in the near future.

"Now, it's too early for me," said Luhan, in response to questions regarding nuptials, "We need to look at fate."

The event was commemorated by the release of the music video for "Medal," the latest release from the former EXO member, which serves as the theme song of the movie.

The Chinese crime flick marks the unanticipated return of Luhan to Korean entertainment, following restrictions placed on the star, who is the in the midst of an alleged legal battle with SM Entertainment.

"The Witness" is a Chinese adaptation of the popular Korean film, "The Blind." Luhan, who previously starred in the 2014 Chinese remake of "Miss Granny," portrays a street urchin who is the witness to a grisly murder. He is tasked with the responsibility of protecting a blind woman, who could hear the sounds related to the killing, but is unable to provide visual details regarding the crime.

"The Witness" premieres on October 30 in China and Korea. The film will screen at select theaters in the U.S., Canada, and several other international locations.
