'Underworld Ascendant' Game WIll Test The Boundaries of Gaming With A New Kind Of Gameplay

"Underworld Ascendant” game gives gamers a first look.

An exploratory RPG adventure, the “Underworld Ascendant” game has a reportedly new take on the first-person RPG gameplay. While the game has already hit some milestones by stretching environmental designs and creating new kinds of puzzles, the upcoming game is said to give gamers a new gaming experience.

According to IGN, the development team behind the “Underworld Ascendant” game has pushed aside competing against huge art budgets and resources and focused on what they can specifically offer to players. While the game has been influenced by other games like “Deus Ex,” “Skyrim” and “Bioshock,” the developers created a new genre of immersive gameplay where players get to create their own story.

The game was a successfully funded Kickstarter game that got 13, 987 backers who pledged more than $860,000 last March 6, 2015 to help bring the vision of OtherSide Entertainment to life.

The Kickstarter campaign is already closed but the game’s funding is still open to pledgers on the Underworld Ascendant Website. Those who are interested in contributing to the funding of the game can do so with the use of PayPal.

Apart from having a dynamic narrative, engaging first-person combat and an improvisation engine, players will be able to create their own character class. While players may still have to choose from a Fighter, a Mage or a Thief, they’ll be given the freedom to customize after.

The “Underworld Ascendant” game, according to Steam Community, is a next-generation game sequel to the fantasy RPGs “Ultima Underworld” and “Ultima Underworld 2.”

The release date for the game is set for the fourth quarter of 2016.
