Gennady Golovkin Next Fight: Chris Eubank Jr. Issues Challenge Against Kazakh Boxer

Fresh from his victory against Canadian boxer David Lemieux, undefeated boxer Gennady Golovkin is already getting challenges from other up and coming boxers and that list includes Chris Eubank Jr.

Golovkin won via knock-out against Lemieux in the eighth round of their Oct. 17 match-up. Golovkin is set to fight the winner of the Miguel Cotto versus Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez fight next month.

Meanwhile, Eubank is set to face Tony Jetter in his Sky Sports debut this weekend and a win will result to a fight against Spike O'Sullivan in December. Should he win both fights, a world title bout could be next in line for the young boxer.

Speaking with Max Boxing, Eubank is confident that his skill set is right there, or if not, better than Golovkin's.

"People see Golovkin as the top fighter in the Middleweight division - and as the type of fighter I am, I want to fight the best," said Eubank.

"I want to prove that I can mix it and beat these guys. Anyone in the Middleweight division that has a belt - I want to fight them. There is no reason that within the next two years, I can't have all those belts."

He also said that he knows of Golovkin's weaknesses and knows very well how to capitalize against him.

"Golovkin has got weaknesses that I feel I can exploit, so the goal is to work towards that fight. It's a huge fight down the line," said Eubank.

"I think he's easy to hit and I can exploit that. I don't think he's had a defining fight. I don't think he's fought anyone who's really been there to try and win."

Should he not get a match against Golovkin, he is also open in fighting George Groves and Martin Murray.

"I'm not going to say anybody can beat me," said Eubank. "The question is who the public want to see me fight. People have mentioned George Groves and Martin Murray - these are fights the public want to see."

"I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my fans so if that's what they want and we can get, that's what we're going to do."
