Motorola Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2 May Be Bought At $300 Discount; Learn How!

The upcoming banner units of Motorola, the Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 may be bought at $300 off, a leaked print advertisement revealed.

According to Extreme Tech, the two devices, which will be marketed by Verizon, can be availed of at discounted rates.

The discounts may reach $300 in exchange of any broken phones, particularly those with used and cracked screen phones. It can be noted that this can be much already when subtracted from the Droid Turbo 2's expected price range of $600 to $700, and Droid Maxx 2's $400 to $500.

When it comes to their release date, the site shared that the "shatterproof" smartphones will be launched before October ends. However, Motorola has not disclosed yet any details on the technology used behind the Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 display that has made them safe from crack and breakage.

"We believe it's basically Verizon's rendition of the P-OLED display panel, meaning that it's strong enough to survive shock," the Extreme Tech speculated. "We're sure to soon see critics conducting high-level drop tests."

The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 was initially known as the Moto X Force with the codename Bounce, while the Motorola Droid Maxx 2 is the US market's Moto X Play.

In the meantime, The Verge reported that the company behind these new phones has announced on Tuesday via a video posted on Twitter that the Droid Turbo 2 is "the perfect phone for imperfect people."

For the site, this is mainly because of the fact that it boasts of a "shatterproof" screen.

Apart from its "shatterproof" screen, the leaked info about the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 also suggested that when a customer opts for the 64GB variant, the phone is qualified for a free "refresh" in its design "at any point during the life of the device."
