Boston Celtics Trade Rumors: Jared Sullinger On The Trading Block? Danny Ainge Looking For Partners

The Boston Celtics are having a tough time balancing their roster before the season begins and the management has confirmed that they are indeed looking for another deal to shake up their roster.

The Celtics roster currently has 16 players in their roster and they are expected to cut either Perry Jones or Corey Walden.

However, it seems like they have bigger plans in mind as they have an overcrowded front court per Sports World. According to the website, Jared Sullinger is the likeliest candidate to be dealt since he will share minutes with veterans David Lee, Tyler Zeller, Amir Johnson and Kelly Olynyk, who are all worthy of being starters.

But, in a recent interview with ESPN, Jared Sullinger said that he couldn't care less about the rumors as he is more focused on winning instead of his minutes. He is a team first guy and sharing minutes with the aforementioned players is no big deal to the big man.

"I'm not here to make it a rivalry between me, Amir, Tyler, Kelly, Jonas [Jerebko] or D-Lee," he said. "My biggest thing is I just want us to win. If that's me cutting back my minutes, that's me cutting back my minutes, but the ultimate goal is to win basketball games."

But rest assured that General Manager Danny Ainge will strike a deal sooner than later and he confirmed that with CSNNE.

"We've made a lot of phone calls, talking to other teams," Ainge told CSNNE. "We like all 16 guys. It's gonna be a tough call if we're not able to do anything."
