Leighton Meester's baby has been hidden from the public eye since the little girl was apparently born in August. As both the actress-singer and Adam Brody have kept mum on the details about the child, people and even the media have been turning to other sources for news on the baby.

In an exclusive GossipGirl.com interview, even Ed Westwick has been asked about his former "Gossip Girl" co-star's bundle of joy.

"I haven't, no," he answered when asked by the source above if he has met the baby.

"I'm sure she's doing absolutely fine," he also told the source above about Meester. "She's a great girl."

The "Wicked City" actor was also questioned about Blake Lively's baby. But according to him he hasn't had the chance to meet Lively's baby as well but did send her a message of congratulations when it was reported that she has given brith.

"I look forward to the day when I finally get to say hello," he shared to the website as quoted by Unreality TV.

Leighton Meester has been quite mum about her family and married life. She was also rarely seen in public. Over at Twitter, fans have been begging her to be active again or share an update about the baby to no avail. They have also been celebrating the release of her debut album, "Heartstrings," a year ago today.

The actress-singer was last interviewed in May. She even told Idolator then that she planned to just "chill" at home for the next months. She was last seen in July with her already big belly. She and Adam Brody did not directly speak about the pregnancy and the birth of the baby.

Last month, TMZ got a copy of the alleged birth certificate of Leighton Meester's baby. Though she still did not directly address the news, E! Online confirmed that she has indeed given birth to a baby girl.
