miss A's Jia Goes Back In Time For Vogue Girl

miss A's Jia looked like she was starring in a John Hughes film for the November issue of Vogue Girl.

The beauty posed in a set cluttered with old dolls, rotary phones, pop culture stuffed animals and oddly shaped mirrors. Her wardrobe included lettering pullovers, leather skirts and plaid blazers by brands like Sonia Rykiel, Low Classic and Eleven Paris.

When reminiscing about her six years with miss A, the star revealed the song that resonated the most with her. She stated, "Our last song 'Only You' was supposed to represent the majority of women, and said that guys felt the same way too [about typical relationships]. We worked hard to emphasize the lyrics, performance, hair and makeup so we would be more daring. I think some fans got scared."

The star also discussed her independent nature. She explained, "I do not like to rely on managers. For example, when I wanted to take a plane home to China, I booked it and went alone instead of informing the company."

She continued, "I went with Chinese friends to New York. The first day of wandering the streets alone led me to the subway. I took photographs, went shopping, drank a cup of coffee at a cafe, watched people. With my smartphone, I can find what I need at any time."

In other fashion news, Jia's last solo pictorial was in the September issue of Ceci. She also joined forces with Wonder Girls member Lim for a work-out themed photoshoot featured in the October issue of Sure.
