Psy says Big Bang's G-Dragon was the creative force behind the dancing in his smash music video "Gentleman."

Psy's record-breaking follow-up to "Gangnam Style" has already received over 166 million YouTube views since being released on April 13, closing the book on discussion that he just was a one-trick pony.

Yet according to K-pop's biggest star, he couldn't have done it without a little help from his friend G-Dragon.

"The choreography that you did when you first heard the song ["Abracadabra"] became the official dance...haha," Psy tweeted to G-Dragon on April 7.

"I′m good at that dance," G-Dragon tweeted back.

Psy apparently takes G-Dragon's dance moves quite seriously.

He and his management even paid a copyright fee to use the Brown Eyed Girls "Abracadabra" dance in the "Gentleman" video, CJ E&M enewsWorld reported on Friday.

According to Lee Joo Sun, Psy′s choreographer, the pair tried out dozens of other dances for the "Gentleman" video, but only the "Abracadabra" dance that G-Dragon busted into on first listen, worked the best.

"We thought up 50 different dances, everything from a sports dance to an animal dance, but we finally decided that the [Brown Eyed Girls' "Abracadabra"] dance fits the song best." Lee Joo Sun said.

Although Psy's "Gentleman" video has been an overwhelming success, it has also generated some controversy in South Korea.

On Thursday, KBS, a state-funded television network, banned the video because of a scene in which Psy kicks over a traffic cone with a "no parking" sign on it.

The station cited a policy against showing videos that depict abuse of public property, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Considering that is the first scene in the "Gentleman" video, it doesn't appear the network censors made it that far into the clip (which also features Psy chugging beers and pulling a chair out from under his date).

It appears Psy doesn't need the network's help to get word of his new video to his fans around the world.

"Gentleman" became Psy's second record-breaking video ("Gangnam Style still ranks as the most watched YouTube clip in history with over 1.5 billion views) just 24 hours after being released.

During that period, Psy's video was watched over 38 million times, decimating the previous record for most views in a single day held by the phony doc "Kony 2012" which received 30 million views.

Popdust.com sees this as proof that G-Dragon's buddy Psy is here to stay.

"Turns out Psy is no one-hit wonder," the publication tweeted on Thursday, in a post Psy himself retweeted. "He's just plain number one."
